Alignment Over Hustle

"When you value your integrity at the highest level, living alignment with your word and following through with your commitments no matter what, there are no limits to what you can create for your life. However, when you make excuses, justify doing what easiest, and choose the path of least resistance, you will live a life of mediocrity, frustration and regret. Live with integrity as if your life depended on it, because it does."

- Hal Elrod

The more we hustle, the more we feel the pressure to be more. The more pressure there is to fear that we're getting it all wrong, and that there's too much that can go wrong. When we're in constant hustle mode, we're doing more, but not necessarily more fulfilled.

I've got my own stories of hustle and burnout, burnout and hustle. It's been an old narrative for way too long in my life, until I realised that I could work 24 hours a day for the rest of my life, and not necessarily be happy. I had to take some time to check into my values. This is when I chose to life a life of alignment over hustle.

On the show we explore:

  • The differences between working hard, and working aligned

  • How hustle can have a negative impact on productivity and self esteem

  • Why hustle comes from lack, and alignment from abundance

  • How tuning into your values equals living a fulfilled life

  • Why alignment IS community over competition
